NCR Carbonless Bill Books and Forms: How They Work
Quick answer: What NCR (No Carbon Required) paper is, how duplicate and triplicate sets work, and when to use carbonless bill books and forms. Based in Karachi, Pakistan - delivered worldwide.
NCR stands for No Carbon Required. It is paper that copies your writing from one sheet to the next without carbon paper - the reason carbonless bill books and forms are used for invoices, receipts and orders.

How carbonless paper works
Carbonless sheets are coated with microscopic capsules of ink and a reactive layer. When you press with a pen, the capsules break and the ink reacts to form an image on the sheet beneath. No carbon sheet, ribbon or mess is needed.
Duplicate and triplicate sets
A duplicate set has two sheets - an original and one copy. A triplicate set has three. The sheets are usually different colours (for example white, yellow and pink) so each copy is easy to identify and file.
When to use carbonless forms
They are ideal wherever you need an identical copy on the spot: bill books, receipts, delivery notes, order forms and invoices. You hand the customer one copy and keep another for your records.
We print bill books and forms on carbonless sets with your logo and layout, and can add serial numbers on request.
